Man gets life term for killing wife

The 12{+t}{+h}Additional District and Sessions Judge Suresh Kumar found Korra Kondababu (46) of Vanthalamamidi in Paderu mandal, guilty of killing his wife Bullemma and sentenced him to undergo life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs. 1000, under Section 302 of IPC.

According to Public Prosecutor of District Court P. Venugopala Rao, who is Public Prosecutor in-charge of the 12{+t}{+h}ADJ court, Bullemma was married to Kondababu following the death of her husband but the couple was always quarrelling.

They continued to quarrel in spite of her son Korra Anand advising them to be at peace.

Around 4 p.m. on November 4, 2014, Kondababu wanted Bullemma to give him some money and when she and also her son could not provide the same, he became wild and beat her with a stick.

Complaint lodged

When she fell down, Kondababu held her neck and twisted it resulting in her instantaneous death. Her son lodged a complaint with the police.
