LIC employees of Visakhapatnam put up a good show during the zonal-level sports meets held at Vijayawada and Kadapa recently. D.V.S.Y. Sarma won the table tennis event held at Kadapa and qualified to participate in the all-India inter-zonal championships to be held during December. In the athletics meet held in Vijayawada, Rakesh Varma, Someswara Rao, Harigopal and Ramana Rao won bronze medals in the 200M, 5000M, 100M and 400M races respectively. Senior Divisional Manager of LIC (Visakhapatnam) K. Muralidhar felicitated the medal-winning players.
