Gitam School of International Business (GSIB) organised a lecture on the topic ‘Globalisation and business ethics: The way ahead’ here on Thursday on Gitam University campus.
The lecture was delivered by Texas Christian University Neely School of Business Dean Prof O Homer Erekson. He highlighted the importance of on the new global ethic.
He said all stakeholders of a business organisation should critically look at self and connect to others with trust and worthiness to have a sustainable and competitive advantage over others.
Gitam University president M.V.V.S.Murthi spoke on aspects of inter-connectedness of the world and necessity to keep up with the pace of the ever changing environment with ingrained value systems.
Chancellor K Ramakrishna Rao spoke on Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and ethics.
Vice-Chancellor M. S. Prasad Rao briefed about the growth of University and international connectivity in education.
