The district officials must be ready with all arrangements in place for the fifth phase of the land distribution programme to be conducted in the district on April 14 and 15, Special Officer for Zone I Sundara Kumar said at a review meeting here on Friday.
Mr. Sundara Kumar told the officials to issue pattadar passbooks and title deeds to the beneficiaries and assure that they received loans for the crops they were raising.
Joint Collector Pola Bhaskar said that 7,048.65 acres would be distributed to 5,202 beneficiaries during the fifth phase.
In Visakhapatnam Division 1,843 would get 1,773.59 acres while 1,650 would get 1,752.37 acres in Narsipatnam Division and 1,709 beneficiaries would be given 3,522.69 acres in Paderu Division.

Students of Visakha Valley School collected Rs.2.97 lakhs towards the Bill and Melinda Gates US $ 200 million Challenge Fund for polio eradication. Principal Sharda Reddy handed over a cheque to Rotary District Governor Kishore Kumar. He appreciated the efforts of the students raising the donations.
