The investiture ceremony of Sainik School, Korukonda, was held at the Golden Jubilee Indoor Sports Complex on Wednesday with military grandeur and pride. Vice Admiral Atul Kumar Jain, Chief of Staff, Eastern Naval Command, was the chief guest for the ceremony.

Rank badges were conferred on 32 cadet appointments selected for their past achievements and capabilities to don leadership roles in their respective houses and classes. On his arrival, the chief guest laid a wreath at the school War Memorial. Later, he was given a traditional guard of honour by 50 cadets, led by guard commander, school cadet captain Vikram Kumar.

The ceremony culminated with the new cadet appointments who were administered an oath for sincerity and dedication towards their respective responsibilities.
