Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) in association with Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will hold an interactive meet with H.A.C. Prasad, Senior Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.
VCCI honorary secretary M.V. Narayana Rao said the meeting would be open to all the interested persons at Dutt Island from 10.30 a.m. to noon. Dr. Prasad is an expert on international economics, world trade, and WTO negotiations.
He has authored a couple of books and published a number of strategy reports, research and working papers. His recent working papers include ‘Policy for India’s Services Sector’ (co-authored).
During the interactive session, Dr. Prasad will make a comprehensive presentation followed by discussion to assertion issues and problems faced by the industry. Focus of the interaction will be on prospects of exports this year with short and medium term outlook, demand constraints and the supply side bottlenecks faced by exporters.
