Indian Green Building Council of CII has invited entries for Green Your School Contest-2016.
In the all-India contest, top three finalists will receive a cash prize of Rs.3.5 lakh, Rs.2.5 lakh and Rs.1.5 lakh for implementation of green measures. Students of VIII standard to X standard can participate.
Each school should submit only one entry and the entries will be evaluated on the basis of generation of ideas, practicality of implementation and innovation.
The school should send an email for confirmation of participation to satya.aruna@cii.in/ disha.natwani@cii.in by August 25.
A reference guide of IGBC Green Schools Rating will be sent for use to develop ideas for the contest. The PowerPoint presentation in the form of a CD should be sent before September 9. The final will be held in Mumbai on October 7.
