Taking a serious view of two Anti Corruption Bureau traps in the past week, Municipal Commissioner M. V. Satyanarayana has said those indulging in corruption will be identified and sent to parent departments or surrendered to the government.

With Wednesday’s case, the role of data entry operators also came into focus resulting in the Commissioner deciding to transfer the 120 outsourced operators to different zones and departments.

At two meetings in the morning and afternoon in the wake of the trapping of an executive engineer of Water Supply Department on Wednesday, he grilled officials on keeping files pending for months together after completion of work.

A list of pending files should be submitted to him, he told officials.

Files will be tracked using software created for the purpose, he told the engineering officials.
