A galaxy of leaders of Left parties would be reaching the city on Sunday and Monday to attend the six-day CPI(M) 21st All India Conference scheduled to begin here on Tuesday.
CPI(M) Politburo member Brinda Karat would be reaching on Sunday evening itself and would participate in a number of scheduled programmes on Sunday.
CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat, Politburo members S. Ramachandran Pillai, A.K. Padmanabhan, M. A. Baby, K. Varadarajan, Sitaram Yechury, Pinarayi Vijayan, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Biman Basu, Suryakanta Mishra and Manik Sarkar would be reaching on Monday.
CPI general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, Kavitha Krishnan of CPI (ML) Liberation, Abani Roy of RSP, Debabrata Biswas of All India Forward Bloc and Probas Ghosh of SUCI ( C) would be reaching on Monday. For the first time non-CPI (M) left party leaders would be participating in the inaugural session of the CPI (M) conference, party Politburo member B. V. Raghavulu said.
