Expert from NIT-Warangal vetting the design of the NAD Flyover is expected to visit the city early next month before he gives his view.

The double rotary flyover design has been sent to Prof. N.V. Ramana Rao of the NIT who is presently abroad.

VUDA Vice-Chairman P. Basanth Kumar said the Road Overbridge across the track to be constructed as a part of the flyover would be taken up by the Railways after a study of the design. VUDA would deposit the required money running up to ₹ 5 crore and it would be taken up by the Railways as per the request of VUDA, he told reporters here on Monday.

Mr. Basanth Kumar, who held a review on the maintenance of the TU-142 aircraft and Kursura Submarine museums, said three more simulator games would be introduced at TU and the audiovisual show would be screened as it was incompatible with virtual reality sets. In a modification, the aerobridge would be moved to ensure a better view of propeller being blocked.

The off-the-bounds area would be extended for better maintenance. The changes are likely to be made by the time of the Partnership Summit.
