A fine dining restaurant offering European style dining opened in the city on Saturday. Jupiter Fine Dining – Yallop Gourmet, a 300-seater restaurant overlooking the Governor’s Bungalow and the historic St Paul’s Church was inaugurated by Minister for Medical Education Kondru Muralimohan. Promoted by the automobile dealer Jupiter Group, the fine dining restaurant also has a sidewalk café – Pele – that offers breads, pizzas and pastries.

Named after the legendary football player Pele, the sidewalk restaurant has fine breads and beverages for a quick bite. The Yallop Gourmet restaurant on the first floor is designed to encourage the connoisseurs to indulge in the European-style food and beverages, MD of Jupiter Group Y Raghuram explained. The three-floor restaurant has two private dining rooms on the second floor. Interestingly, there are no televisions in the restaurant. The décor has been inspired by our rich tribal heritage, he said.

The gourmet restaurant overlooks the historic St Paul’s Church and the Governor’s Bungalow and the trees surrounding the property would make one forget that they are in the heart of the fast-growing city, he added. Former chairman of the Zilla Parishad B Rama Rao inaugurated one counter, vice president of Axis Bank Killari Ranjit Kumar inaugurated the fine dining restaurant, MLC Suribabu inaugurated the dining room.
