The general body meeting of Visakhapatnam branch of Southern India Regional Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on Monday elected A.V.S. Lalitha Sundari. She is the first lady chairperson in the 35 years history of the local unit.
Other elected as office-bearers include N.N.S. Prakash (vice-chairman), K. Ramachandra Rao (secretary), D. Chandra Sekhar Reddy (treasurer), D.S.L.V. Ramana Babu (chairman for student activities) and B. Venkat Rao (editor). Immediate past chairman P.V.S.P. Kumar and B. Sriram Murthy and D. Prasanna Kumar are other members of the managing committee.
