Final phase of AU admissions on July 10

: The third and final phase of admissions into the courses of Andhra University for which entrance test was not held, will be held from 10 a.m. on July 10 at the office of the AU Directorate of Admissions, Vijayanagar Palace, Peda Waltair here.

Director of Admissions O. Aniel Kumar has informed the following vacancies in different courses: Self finance category seats: M.Tech. (atmospheric science) 10, M.Tech. (petroleum exploration and production) 25, M.P.Ed. one, M.A. (Sanskrit) four, M.A. (Hindi) 10, BFA three, MFA (print making and sculpture) 12, M.A. (dance) 10, M.A. (music) four, M.Ed. (special education) 12, and M.A. five-year integrated course in economics one.

Regular category seats: M.A. (Sanskrit) 6, M.A. (women studies) 1, PGDCRS 1, and M.A. (Hindi) 13.

Every candidate attending the counselling session has to produce his or her original certificates, a set of photo copies of the certificates and four passport sized photographs.

The candidate must be prepared to pay the course fee immediately in case a seat is allotted to him or her.

Counselling fee of Rs. 500 will be collected (Rs. 250 in case of SC and ST candidates).

Candidates who have not applied for AUCET-2016 have to submit a fresh application and pay a fee of Rs. 1500 towards registration and processing.

These applications will be considered only if vacant seats are available after the list of already applied candidates is exhausted, Prof. Aniel Kumar said.
