EPDCL introduces pilot project for swiping power bills

The new payment mode will be available in a full-fledged manner to customers soon. Besides, more value-added services will be introduced

The EPDCL on Tuesday introduced a pilot project for payment of electricity bills by swiping debit and credit cards.

The facility at ERO West at EPDCL Corporate Office with the assistance of State Bank of India was inaugurated by Transco in charge CMD, Special Secretary, Energy Munindra and Joint Secretary, Finance, K. Naga Malleswara Rao. EPDCL CMD M. Seshagiribabu was present.

The new payment mode will be available in a full-fledged manner to customers soon. Besides, more value-added services will be introduced.

Directors Hari Prasad, V. Krishna, Lakshminarayana, chief general managers B. Ramesh Prasad, Suryabhaskara Rao, SE (Operations) Satyanarayana Reddy and Chief Manager of SBI Maharanipeta branch Kulkarni and Pradyumna (SBI) participated.
