To bring awareness about Information Technology among school students of classes 8 to 10, Computer Society of India, Visakhapatnam chapter conducted ‘Wizkid Quiz 2018’ competition on Tuesday at Ukku Club, Ukkunagaram.
Prabir Raychaudhury, director (Commercial), RINL, inaugurated the programme. Later, he interacted with students and called upon them to utilise the platform to explore their inner skills. More than 145 teams from 27 different schools in and around the city participated in the quiz. Sudhansu Choudhary, AGM (IT), Visakhapatnam Steel plant, conducted the quiz.
The team from Delhi Public School, Ukkunagaram, won the first prize and bagged the cash award of ₹15,000. The first and second runners-up teams were from Navy Children School, Nausenabagh and DPS, Ukkunagaram who received a cash prize of ₹ 9,000 and ₹ 6,000 respectively.
