‘Diwali diyas' counter at CMR

CMR Shopping Mall Managing Director Mavuri Venkata Ramana on Thursday inaugurated the Diwali diyas sale counter. This counter is dedicated to the sale of the Diwali Diyas prepared by handicapped children of the Physically Handicapped Welfare Association in the city. The children have been preparing diyas for sale every year for the past 11 years, and Mr. Ramana assured a sale of diyas worth Rs.50,000 at the counter and also donated Rs.25,000 towards the maintenance of the hostel of run by the association.

Founder president of the association Ch. Satya expressed her gratitude to him. About 20 handicapped children run the counter at CMR shopping mall.
