As part of its efforts to provide trained persons to coach budding basketball players in various parts of the district, the Visakhapatnam District Basketball Association is sending players to undergo certificate course being conducted by the Sports Authority of India.
After sending three players previously to a course, the District BasketBall Association is sending four players: P. Narayana, P. Jagadish, V. Anuradha and G. Meena to the course being conducted at Guntur from May 16 to 24. MD of CMR group M.V. Ramana has sponsored the expenses of the four players at the camp totalling Rs. 60,000. President of VDBA T.S.R. Prasad, secretary Bojja Ramayya and joint secretary T.S.N. Murthy were present.
