Competitions for Vizag Fest

10-day book festival to be organised with 200 stalls

Competition in story and poetry writing will be conducted ahead of the Vizag Fest 2017 to be conducted from December 1 to 10.

As a part of the festival, a 10-day book festival will be organised with 200 stalls.

While the best three stories in the category will be given ₹ 8000, ₹ 5000 and ₹ 3000, the best three poems will be presented ₹ 5000, ₹ 3000 and ₹ 2000.

For students of north Andhra districts separate competitions will be conducted. Entries from intermediate, degree, polytechnic, engineering and medicine students should be accompanied by a certificate from the college management. Cash prizes will be given to the best three entries.

Entries should be sent to convener of Gurajada Sahitya Vedika Cheekati Diwakar ( cheekatid9@gmail.com ) by November 10.

The poster for the competitions was released by writer Chintakindi Srinivasa Rao, Mr. Diwakar and writer and Head of the Department of Telugu of Mrs. AVN College Ayyagari Sitaranam on Wednesday.
