Confederation of Indian Industry on Thursday launched GST Helpdesk in association with Central Board of Excise & Customs, Visakhapatnam Zone at CII Visakhapatnam Zone office.
Additional Commissioner of Central Tax P. Muthusamy inaugurated the CII GST Helpdesk and commended CII for taking this proactive step and ensured his support for future initiatives.
He also nominated officials from his department to be present at the helpdesk with the primary objective of helping the industry members with the GST implementation issues and address any issues faced by them.
The helpdesk will function for three hours from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Monday and Friday at CII Visakhapatnam office, Rednam Gardens, Opposite SBI Main Branch, Visakhapatnam.
Among others, R.V.S. Raju, CII-AP vice-chairman, G.S. Shiv Kumar, former AP chairman, V. Murali Krishna, past zonal chairman and Gaurav Thakkar, vice-chairman, CII AP GST Taskforce.
