CIFNET notification released

Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical & Engineering Training (CIFNET), which is Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, has released admission notification for common entrance examination for admission into various courses.

The institute offers two-year vessel navigator and marine fitter course for which the required qualification is SSC/SSLC with 50 per cent marks in maths and science.

CIFNET has also issued separate notification for bachelor of fishery science (nautical science). Intermediate is the required qualification. The entrance test will be conducted at Visakhapatnam, Chennai and Kochi.
