Tortoises in a myriad hues and shapes were on display at St. Joseph’s Girls High School at Gnanapuram.

The works, primarily done with coconut shells, mustard grains, pepper, wheat flour, and nail polish, were impressive to say the least.

In all, 59 students of Class V ‘C’, under the guidance of their art teacher, expressed their ingenuity through their works. Some of the students embellished their works with fancy materials and a dash of nail enamel to give the outer shell an attractive look. Principal Sis. Maria Rani appreciated the students for their creativity.
