CEOs’ meet: CM to release Fortune India 500 rankings

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the fifth edition of Fortune India 500 rankings at the CEO conclave being organised by the reputed monthly magazine here on December 17.

CEOs from leading companies from all fields have given their consent to attend the conclave being held in coordination with AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation at Hotel Novotel Varun Beach.

Fortune India 500 rankings is being released from 2010. The ranking of top 500 Indian companies is made based on their gross sales revenue. Fortune India is a monthly magazine published by Time Inc., the publisher of Fortune (US) and the ABP Group of publications through a licence agreement.

Apart from oil, IT and other industrial companies, the list will include financial institutions and service providers.

When contacted, APIIC Executive Director V. Raghunath said Mr. Naidu would make a presentation on why Fortune 500 companies should invest in Andhra Pradesh. After bifurcation, Mr. Naidu decided to showcase ‘Sunrise State’ as the USP of Andhra Pradesh to woo investors after getting a decisive mandate in alliance with BJP in the General Elections.

The Chief Minister is also expected to interact with CEOs and answer their queries. Mr. Naidu had addressed IT CEOs conclave here on September 29 where he unveiled the New IT and Start-Up Policy.
