Nadda to focus on Central schemes. The enrolment drive of the party had shown significant results and there are nearly 3 lakh members in the district.

Carrying forward the decisions taken at the recently-concluded national executive the Bharatiya Janata Party State executive is holding its meeting here on Sunday.

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda attend the State executive meeting, member of BJP national executive Somu Veeraraju told media persons here on Saturday. The meeting would discuss on how to carry to the people achievements of the party and also explain various welfare schemes that the party has launched. In fact people, even in remote rural areas, have become more aware of the schemes of the government. They are asking details of the programmes and trying to see how it would benefit them, he said. The party workers would be asked to go to people and explain to them salient features of changes being made in the laws and the efforts being made by Narendra Modi government for welfare of the poor.

BJP city president P V Narayana Rao and State executive members Ch. Ramakotaiah and Pydah Krishna Mohan were present.
