AIYF and AISF activists trying to lay siege to DRM’s office demanding railway zone for Visakhapatnam were arrested on Monday.

Fifteen activists were arrested by the Government Railway Police and let off later. AIYF district secretary P. Chandrasekhar deplored the Railway Minister stating that forming of a zone was not mentioned in the A.P. Bifurcation Act. He demanded that Lok Sabha member K. Haribabu should resign for not getting the zone to Visakhapatnam.

TDP on the other hand, had sailed for four years with BJP and in the years unveiled resignation drama. AISF district secretary G. Phanindra and others participated.
