Bajaj’s new Maxima hits the road

Bajaj Auto, which has 56 per cent market share in passenger segment in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State, launched three-wheeler cargo vehicle named Maxima C in North Andhra on Monday.

Regional Manager for AP and TS P. Raghava Rao told reporters that they were expecting 30 per cent of market share in cargo segment in AP and TS in the first year of launching Maxima C.

He said Bajaj Auto, the world’s largest three-wheeler manufacturer was into production of most powerful cargo vehicle with 447 cc engine, power clutch, coupling and suspension. It is priced at Rs.1.88 lakh ex-factory.

He said Bajaj Maxima, available in three variants, was rolled out after extensive research by its R&D team.

“The new vehicle offers front twin shock absorbers and hydraulic rear shock absorbers which are a new introduction in the category,” he pointed out.
