Air Odisha is starting its journey connecting flights between Chhattisgarh and Visakhapatnam.
The Jagdalpur – Vizag Air Odisha flight will commence on Wednesday.
The flight is being launched under the ‘Udaan’ scheme, according to Air Odisha MD Shaishav Shah.
Air Odisha has plans to add more regions.
A 19-seater aircraft will be operated on this route and the ticket sales have opened online. The fare from Vizag to Jagdalur is ₹1,940.
The flight will land in Vizag at 9.35 a.m. and take-off at 10.05 a.m. and land at Jagdalpur at 10.50 a.m, covering the distance in 45-minutes.
Meanwhile, the AP Air Travellers Association thanked the Union government and the airline for connecting Vizag to Jagdalpur and beyond.
