Agri-Hackathon from Nov. 15

1,500 delegates likely to attend it

Principal Secretary (Agriculture) B. Rajasekhar reviewed the arrangements for the Agri – Hackathon to be held in the city from Nov 15 to 17. He said either the Vice-President or the Union Minister for Agriculture was expected participate in the inaugural function.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would attend on the second day. An exhibition would be organised on integrating modern technology and IT in agriculture.

As many 1,500 delegates were expected to attend the event apart from 300 students and 500 farmers from all the 13 districts in the State.

Collector Pravin Kumar and officials of various departments attended the review meeting.
