A lady doctor from Bhubaneswar and her husband, who is also a doctor, will be summoned by the city police, as part of the investigation in the acid attack on city-based paediatrician Balaji Bhushan Patnaik.
It is learnt that the doctor is a practising physiotherapist and her husband is a pathologist.
The police are clueless so far, but it is learnt after verifying the call data records of Dr. Patnaik, it was noticed that he had spoken to the lady doctor about an hour before the attack, and the CDR history also showed that there were a number of calls between the two numbers. A senior officer, said “based on the CDR, we have summoned the doctor couple for questioning”.
