It was a special Saturday for the former students of St. Joseph’s Girls High School as they met each other after a long time and rejoiced the reunion of the 1971-1990 batch at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.

Nearly 80 old students from different parts of the country visited the city to renew their friendship. While a few students tried to recollect the names of their batch-mates some identified their friends even though they met after a long time. They shared their present experiences and revived the old memories of the schooldays. Some recollected their team of teachers and thanked them for their dedication that brought a change in their lives.

As the day progressed, classmates gathered on the school premises, felicitated the teachers and presented a cup to the school management to be given away over to the best outgoing student of the year. Former students expressed their willingness to contribute for the cup every year before presenting some wall fans to the school.

The reunion celebration continued till evening savouring a spread of delicacies, listening to some old melodies and capturing the happy moments with photographs.
