A 17-year old girl was reportedly raped by a 30-year old car driver at Subbalakshmi Nagar on Thursday evening.
The incident came to light after the mother of the victim approached the Fourth Town Police Station and lodged a complaint.
The accused was identified as P. Srinivas (30), resident of HB colony, working as a car driver in a house, where the girl works as a domestic help.
According to Fourth Town In-charge Inspector G.V. Ramana, the driver took the girl to an isolated area near the house and allegedly raped her.
