French Embassy team visits AU

Discusses areas of cooperation

A three-member team of officials from the French Embassy visited Andhra University and held discussions with Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao on the possible areas for mutual cooperation, on Thursday.

The French officials suggested that Andhra University should conduct three-year research programmes. They also offered to provide better services to enable students to learn French language.

They sought proposals on the topics for research from Andhra University.

The Vice-Chancellor welcomed the proposals of the French officials and told the visiting team that suitable decisions would be taken on the proposals in the near future.

Registrar V. Umamaheswara Rao and academic dean K. Niranjan were among others present.
