The death of a 24-year-old woman, allegedly due to viral fever, triggered panic among residents of Gannavaram on Tuesday.

The woman named S. Jyothi, mother of two, reportedly died at her home in Dalitawada of Gannavaram due to high fever on Tuesday morning.

One of her sons is also suffering from fever.

It is alleged that the dumping yard close to the residences in Dalitawada is causing residents to fall ill.
