Sweltering heat in the city on Wednesday evening had a palpable effect on actor Allu Arjun.

The actor, who is enjoying the success of his latest movie Sarainodu , was addressing a huge gathering at the grounds of Siddhartha Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology as part of the success meet. “I am a bit tensed now. Generally, I don’t get tensed. But Vijayawada heat is forcing me to feel so,” he said.

Actors — Aadi Pinisetty, Catherine Tresa, Rakul Preet Sing, and Srikanth, director Boyapati Srinu, producer Allu Arvind, and the entire crew took part in the event.

Not only Allu Arjun but the entire team suffered and could not stand the oppressive heat.

Catherina Tresa even went to her bus for a brief period. Rakul Preet Singh and Srikanth were seen wiping their faces with napkins throughout the event. Meanwhile, poor crowd management caused chaos at the event. Police who were deployed at the event turned paparazzi trying to capture the actors in their smart phones. Traffic on the Pinnamaneni Polyclinic Road came to a halt due to rush of vehicles to the venue.
