Visually-challenged staff in Vijayawada join anti-telangana stir

Visually-challenged staff from various departments joined the striking Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers at a rally led by the NGOs Association leaders from the Department of Commercial Taxes in Vijayawada on Monday.

The visually challenged coming from across various departments such as Animal Husbandry and Zilla Parishad, blocked the Eluru Road along with other NGOs for about 30 minutes in the morning. In the evening they exclusively took out a rally from Benz Circle to the Sub-Collector’s Office.

Michael an employee of Animal Husbandry Department said that due to the bifurcation they may not have any physical problem, but service records and seniority would be affected.
