The Tourism Department has focused on Chenna Kesava Swamy temple at S. Gundala near Dhone in Kurnool district for development as tourist spot.

The temple nestled in picturesque Yarramalai Hills is not visited by many due to poor approach road.

The temple chariot and lamp pillars are the special attraction which was constructed during Vijayanagara time and witnessed development under the stewardship of Srikrishnadevaraya.

The temple is surrounded by lush green forest and hills. Tourism Officer Venkateswarlu told The Hindu that the temple would have a steady stream of visitors if a motorable road is constructed to a distance of 15 km from the National Highway.
