Three-day hackathon begins

As many as 20 teams from various colleges across the country took part in the ethical hacking competition ‘Hackathon’ being organised by Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women at Bhimavaram on Monday.

Ahead of Medha Milan-2017, the 12th edition of the college’s national student symposium, the three-day ethical hacking competition began and a large number of girl students took part.

Medha Milan will begin on March 7 and conclude on March 8. Students of undergraduate engineering in ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, ME, CE and MBA will be taking parting the symposium.

As part of it, hardware and software project competition and the technical treasure hunt will be held on the campus. Successful entrepreneurs Harsha Vardhan, Sri Vasu, HoDs, College Principal G. Srinivas Rao, Vice Principal P. Srinivasa Raju, programme coordinator P. Rama Rao and others were present.
