The district administration has made all arrangements for conduct of the written tests for recruitment of Village Revenue Officer (VRO) and Village Revenue Assistant (VRA) posts, to be held on Sunday.
A total of 54,523 candidates will appear for VRO and 9,753 aspirants will attend for VRA tests. The officials arranged 113 centres for both the examinations. The exam for VRO will be conducted for 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for VRA posts.
Candidates have been requested to reach the centres one hour before the schedule and no person will be allowed in to the hall after the commencement of the examination. Carrying of mobile phones, calculators and other electronic gadgets have been strictly prohibited.
The chief superintendents will allow assistants for blind and physically handicapped persons only, and the invigilators will give 10 minutes extra for every one hour for blind and PH aspirants.
Candidates who are not having hall tickets will not be allowed into the centres. Persons whose photographs were not affixed on the hall tickets are requested to bring two passport size photos attested by a gazetted officer.
In a review meeting held at Joint Collector's office here on Saturday, Joint Collector Gaurav Uppal explained the rules and regulations to be followed at the centres to the officials, chief superintendents, flying squad members and observers.
The invigilators should not allow the candidates to go out of the examination halls till the time is over.
A control room has been arranged at sub-collector's office and candidates/staff are requested to inform over phone No.0866-2574454, in case of any problem.
Police Commissioner N. Madhusudhan Reddy said the candidates and the staff who possess ID cards only would be allowed into the examination centres.
Section 144 will be in force at the centres, he said and appealed to the public to cooperate for peaceful conduct of the examinations.
