The Prakasam Institute of Development Studies Trust organised a meeting on Friday in honour of the 65th anniversary of Tanguturi Prakasam's swearing in as premier of composite Madras State.
C.G.K. Murty, chairman of the trust presided over the meeting, according to a press release here.
“He was an able administrator who knew the value of decentralisation and this evident in his Firka Development Programme,” Chalapathi Rao, the Editor of Triveni said. He said Mr. Prakasam had achieved a lot in the short span of 11 months that he served as Premier.
