‘Subhapradam’ from May 11 to 20

: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishat will conduct the annual ‘Subhapradam’ programme from May 11 to 20. The programme comprises discourses and lectures on Indian culture. There will be special sessions on yoga and communication skills.

Students studying in Standards VIII to X are eligible to attend the programme. The TTD will provide all facilities, including accommodation and food free of cost, District Dharma Prachara Mandal legal advisor Y. Lokanatha Sarma here on Saturday.

Arrangements are being made to enrol 1,000 boys and 500 girls. The programme will be organised at different venues for boys and girls. Teachers conducting the programme would undergo special training at Tirupati.Students who excel in the camp will be provided with cash prizes of Rs.15,000, Rs.10,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively for the top four, he said.
