South Central Railway will introduce a weekly air-conditioned Superfast Express as announced earlier in the Railway Budget, between Secunderabad and Shalimar with effect from Tuesday (May 28) from Secunderabad and from Shalimar with effect from May 29.
The inaugural special train No. 12774 from Secunderabad to Shalimar weekly AC express will depart on Tuesday at 11.00 a.m. and arrive at Shalimar at 2.35 p.m. the next day. The train will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 4.30 p.m./4.35 p.m.
In the return direction, the inaugural run special train No. 12773 Shalimar-Secunderabad weekly air-conditioned Superfast Express will depart on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and arrive at Secunderabad at 10 p.m. the next day. The train will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 3.10 p.m./3.30 p.m. on Thursdays. These special weekly Superfast Express trains will halt at Warangal, Vijaywada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Viskhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar Cuttak, Balasore, Kharagpur and Santragachi stations in both the directions.
