Special incentives to staff working in Agency areas, says CM

Do not view transfer as a burden, says Naidu

: The State government intends to complete the process of transfers by Wednesday evening. The government also proposes to offer special incentives to those employees who were willing to work in Agency areas. The government also asked the medical and health, education departments, which sought a grace time of two days, to stick to schedule.

Addressing a video conference here on Tuesday, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said asked the officials to ensure that public satisfaction, development and welfare were paramount and benchmark while effecting transfers. The transfer of employees was being done to pick and choose best teams. For the government, all employees were equal. The officials would have to follow the guidelines strictly while transferring the employees. The government would have to extract work from each and every employee. But, it would have to sideline the employees who negligent in their duties and were undisciplined, he said.

Mr. Naidu said that the government would give special incentives and priority to those who were willing to work in Agency areas. The employees should not take the transfers as a burden, he said. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that the government has right to transfer the employees even though they did not complete three years term. The government would transfer any employee who was not meeting expectations, he said.
