South Central Railway will run two special trains between Tirupati and Karimnagar to clear the extra rush.
Train No. 02761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Special will depart Tirupati on Wednesday (May 8) at 10.40 p.m. and arrive at Karimnagar at 11.25 a.m. the next day. It will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 5.05 a.m./5.15 a.m.
In the return direction, Train No.02762 Karimnagar-Tirupati train will depart Karimnagar on Thursday (May 9) at 7.10 p.m. and arrive at Tirupati at 7.55 a.m. the next day. It will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 1.35 a.m./1.45 a.m.
The Special trains will halt at Peddepalli, Jamikunta, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Gudur, Srikalahasti, and Renigunta stations in both directions.
The train will consist of a two-tier AC coach, a three-tier AC coach, eight sleeper class coaches, six general second class coaches and two second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
Augmentation
Train No. 17210/17209 Kakinada Town- Bangalore-Kakinada Town Seshadri Express is augmented by a three-tier air-conditioned coach on temporary basis. After temporary augmentation it will have three 3-tier AC coaches with a composition of 19 coaches till May 15.
