National Alliance for People's Movements is launching ‘Save Sharmila Solidarity Campaign' from October 2 in support of Irom Charu Sharmila, who has been on hunger strike for the last 11 years in Manipur.
Forum For Better Bapatla convener P.C. Sai Babu said a signature campaign would commence at 3 p.m. in Bapatla on Sunday. The campaign is also being kick-stared the same day in the rest of the country.
On December 10, to mark the Human Rights Day, all these signatures would be presented to the President, Mr. Sai Babu said.
