State Bank of India, Guru Nanak Nagar branch, has been shifted to its new premises at Sai Odessey Complex, near Ramesh Hospital, Ring Road, here on Sunday.
The new premises was inaugurated by the bank’s DGM (Administrative office) Hannah Rachael Mani.
The branch will cater to the needs of individual customers and offer all facilities such as deposits, loan products, locker facilities, Internet banking, insurance products, Mutual Funds, gold loans, ATM, cash deposit machine, health insurance and DEMAT.
Ms. Hannah informed the cash deposit machine facility till now was available only at its main branch but in this month two more will be installed at Satynarayanapuram and Prajasakhtinagar branches.
“These machines will work 24x7 and can accept up to Rs.49,900 per transaction. The machines will provide instant receipt,” she said.
In addition to cash deposit transactions, the customers can also carry out other functions such as balance enquiry, mini statement and PIN change.
