August 24, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 09:10 am IST - VIJAYAWADA:

More than 10,000 Seva Dal volunteers of Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation (SSSO) rendered their services to the pilgrims during the 12-day Krishna Pushkaram in three districts — Krishna, Guntur and Kurnool.

They swung into action right from the Day-1 inspired by the ideology of ‘Love All – Serve All’, ‘Help Ever - Hurt Never’ that was advocated by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The SSSO volunteers were seen everywhere helping pilgrims in taking part in the festivities without any hassle. According to an official release, the Seva Dal volunteers rendered services in two batches from August 12 to 17 and the second batch from August 18 to 23.

Water and prasadam

The volunteers distributed water and ‘prasadam’, helped in regulating the crowds and order at the railway stations and bus stands and helped pilgrims in many other ways. Besides, they conducted free medical camps.

SSSO State president S.G. Chalam, SSSO Krishna District president Viswanadham and coordinator Nagendram supervised the activities.
