RPF cop rewarded for honesty

Divisional Railway Manager R. Dhananjayulu, on Thusday presented a cash award of ₹3, 000 to G. Srinivasa Rao in appreciation of his integrity and dedication, in the presence of S.R. Ghandi, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner.

Mr. Rao, a Railway Protection Force constable, Rajahmundry (Crime, Prevention and Detection Team), recovered a hand bag containing gold ornaments (272 gm) worth of ₹9.5 lakh from a bogie of Simhadri Express and handed over it to the ownes, M.V.B.R Chowdary, resident of Vemulapalli of Vizianagaram district.
