The Gateway Hotel kick started the Punjabi Food Festival at its GAD restaurant.

With an array of lip smacking vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes on the platter, city’s The Gateway Hotel kick started the Punjabi Food Festival at its GAD restaurant on Thursday.

In the ten-day food festival, a variety of authentic Punjabi non-vegetarian dishes including Chicken Bhatti Masala, Kadhai Murgh, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Tawa Kebabs, Shahi Mutto, according to Mr. Arjun Yadav, Executive Chef of the hotel.

In the vegetarian section too a large variety of delicacies will be offered. They include Kumbh Palak Shorba, Achari Paneer Tikka that trigger the appetite of food buffs, he added.

He said that Lovely Singh’s Kathi Rolls station, Lucky Lassi bar, Sherry Kebab spot at the festival are an added attraction.

Munch with music

Hotel sales manager Md. Shabul Hassan said that traditional Punjabi music will be played during the festival at the restaurant which also wore a look of Punjabi dhaba.
