Principal suspended

The Social Welfare Department on Wednesday suspended Ramanamma, principal, Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Gurukul Girls School, Narsapuram, in the light of an incident in which over 60 students were hospitalised on March 30.

According to the department, Gurukul schools zonal officer Mr. M. Pullaiah and Ramanamma were suspended for their alleged negligence in taking care of the students.
