The trend of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) coming back home speaks of positive vibes in Sunrise Andhra Pradesh. Going by the developments, the State will see a brisk activity on NRI investment in Amaravati region and other places in the State shortly, according to Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu.

The Minister spoke after releasing the brochure related to Sindia Business Consultancy Pvt Ltd, floated by Singapore-based Telugu NRIs in the city on Tuesday and said, “The initiative will boost investments from Singapore in processing, export and other segments in AP. I wish many more of such NRIs take lead in setting up companies in AP.” Some of the NRIs from Germany are most likely to set up shop here after the scheduled visit of a team led by the minister in the coming month, according to him.

The basic objective of Sindia is to facilitate investments and exports besides creating employment in AP, said Venu Velpuri, one of the partners in the company.

“The very purpose of setting up our Indian offices in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam is to generate jobs and encourage entrepreneurship for people based out of AP. NRI investment is also most likely flow from Singapore shortly,” Mr Venu said.

Sindia will help interested entrepreneurs set up companies in Singapore, raise investment, get loans and list in Singapore Stock Exchange, he added.
