National convention of CA students begins

Machilipatnam Member of Parliament Konakalla Narayana Rao on Friday said that chartered accountants play a key role in development of economy and advised the students to maintain high ethical standards in their professional career.

Addressing the inaugural session of two-day national conventional of CA students here on Friday, Mr.Rao said that there was no short-cut for excelling in examinations or in profession.

Souvenir released

Vijayawada Member of Parliament Kesineni Srinivas (Nani), who the chief guest at the convention, said there were many opportunities for CA students in the coming days in the State. Later, he released a souvenir of the convention.

ICAI Vijayawada chapter secretary Siva Rama Kumar, in a statement, claimed the attendance of students was highest in any CA students conventions conducted till date in the country.

Organisers said the objective behind organising the convention was to provide a platform to students to learn through paper presentations on current topics of their curriculum.

M. Devaraja Reddy, chairman, Board of Studies, ICAI explained about the study techniques to clear the examination. Experts delivered lectures and presented papers on different topics and renowned trainer and motivator J.V.C Sreeram addressed the students.

He advised them to build effective communication and interpersonal skills to succeed in their career, said a press release.
